11 Troubleshooting and Repair during Initial Ink Charge
Before the initial charging is complete, printer operation is limited, so if the initial charging fails due to a mechanical failure or other reason, the printer cannot be restored.
By using this menu, it is possible to perform the Failure Verification and repair work (with limitations) and the initial charging after repairs work before the initial charging is complete or if the initial charging fails.
This menu is displayed in service support mode only before the initial charging is complete or if the initial charging fails.
Actions before the initial charging is complete
- Perform the 1101 Troubleshooting and Repair Setting during Initial Ink Charge.
Use each menu to perform the Failure Verification and repair work (with limitations).

Note / 補足If you performed after replacement work for Head Unit or Ink Supply Unit, you do not need to perform the following steps. (because those menus includes the 1102 Special Ink Charge 1.)
Perform the 1102 Special Ink Charge 1.
Caution / 注意- If you perform 1101 Troubleshooting and Repair Setting during Initial Ink Charge, when you turn on the printer, it will not start in normal mode, but will start in service support mode.
- To start in normal mode, you must perform and complete 1102 Special Ink Charge 1.
Actions if the initial charging fails
- Start the service support mode.
