If condensation occurs

When the indoor temperature suddenly changes from a low temperature state, such as in winter, dew condensation may occur inside the main unit.

If the power is turned on while condensation has occurred, it may not operate properly due to a fatal error (error code: 031008, 034209).

What to do if condensation has formed
  1. Open the cover of the printer without disassembly/Assembly and leave it to dry.
  2. Remove the Belt Unit and wipe off any water droplets on the belt surface.
  3. After confirming that the condensation has dried, attach the Belt Unit to the Main Unit and close all open covers.
What to do if condensation recurs

Start the printer in the special setting mode and enable the condensation prevention mode [207 Dew Condensation Prevention Mode].

Note / 補足
  • When the dew condensation prevention mode [207 Dew Condensation Prevention Mode] is executed, the life counter of the Belt Unit advances to rotate the Belt Unit.
  • The life counter of the belt cleaner does not advance.
