- If the TPM board breaks down, necessary information cannot be restored when the printer starts up. The printer becomes unusable.
- For recovery, you need to replace the TPM board and a restore key backed up when password encryption is enabled.
For this reason, it is necessary for the customer to back up the encryption key to a USB memory and store it in advance.
- If there is no backed up restore key, it is necessary to initialize the HDD that stores the customer information.
In that case, be sure to explain to the customer that the data on the HDD will be erased and obtain consent before execution.
