Flatbed Glass Surface

Cleaning purpose

Flatbed reading glass surface is dirty, it may cause streaking or the appearance of dirt on printed matter.

Position

  1. Open the ADF (A).
  2. Clean the Flatbed reading glass (A) and the ADF surface reading glass (B).



Cleaning method

After visually checking the flatbed reading glass surface, clean with a cleaning cloth if necessary.

If there is any glue or other dirt stuck on the surface, clean it with a cloth moistened with pure water and wrung out tightly, then wipe it dry with a cleaning cloth to ensure that no water stains remain.

Check Point / チェックポイント

When using the ADF, scanning of the original surface is performed at a position 0 to 5 mm from the edge of the floating document sheet (A).

After cleaning, check that there is no dirt left.
