  • 000241 EJR PID overload error
  • 000243 EJR PID reverse error
  • 000244 EJR PID lock error
Occurrence condition
  • The Paper Ejection Tray Rib Drive Motor cannot operate due to large motor load
  • The Paper Ejection Tray Rib Drive Motor is rotating in reverse
  • The Paper Ejection Tray Rib Drive Motor cannot rotate
Assumed cause
  • An abnormal load was suddenly applied to the motor, and the motor rotated in the opposite direction due to the reaction force.

Troubleshooting
Step Confirmation and action YES NO
1 Check the status of the stacker
Is the number of sheets of paper stacked in the stacker within the limit? Is the stacker free from foreign objects?
Go to step 2 Reduce the number of sheets of paper or remove foreign objects.
2 Check harness connection
Is the harness connecting the Paper Ejection Tray Rib Drive Motor and the encoder properly connected?
Go to step 3 Reconnect the harness.
3 Check the gear trains for damage
Visually check the gear trains of the Paper Ejection Tray Rib drive mechanism for foreign objects, falling off or damage, and reassemble if necessary.
Does the error still occur?
Go to step 4 End
4 Replace the suspected part
Replace the components of the Paper Ejection Tray Rib Drive Motor mechanism one by one: motor, Gear Train Assy, and Stacker Assy in that order. Does the error still occur?
Go to step 5 End
5 Replace the suspected part
