6040201 Punch Inclination Adjustment

Improve the skew of the paper in the floor finisher and improve the tilt of the punched holes.

  • The tilt of the punch pin itself cannot be adjusted.
  • The floor finisher can be adjusted only for plain paper.
  1. Start the service support mode.
  2. Select [06 Individual Adjustment].
  3. Select the [Floor Finisher] tab.
  4. Select [6040201 Punch Inclination Adjustment].

  5. Press [Pattern Print].

  6. Press each setting item button to make the print settings.


    The parameters that can be set are as follows.

    Check Point / チェックポイント

    Set the paper type to be adjusted in the cassette.

    One sheet of paper is required to output the adjustment pattern.
    Setting Items Selection
    Feed Tray C1, C2, C3, C4, Paper Tray, High Capacity Unit
    Available Paper Sizes A4 (Vertical), Letter (Vertical)
    Caution / 注意

    Make sure the paper orientation is as specified (LEF/Vertical).

    If the orientation is different from the specifications (SEF/Horizontal), the paper will be ejected without being processed correctly and the operation cannot be checked.

  7. Press [Execute] to output the adjustment pattern.

  8. Check the adjustment pattern, take the following measures according to the punch hole and paper conditions, and decide the adjustment value.

    • If the punched holes are tilted: Enter a value larger than the currently set adjustment value

    • If the paper is bent or the edges of the paper are damaged: Enter a value smaller than the currently set adjustment value.

  9. If the paper is bent or the edges of the paper are damaged: Enter a value smaller than the currently set adjustment value.

    Press [Set value] and enter the adjustment value calculated in step 8. Adjustment value input range:

    • -20 to 20  * Values outside the adjustment value input range cannot be entered. + adjustment value: Lengthen skew correction time.
    • - adjustment value: Shorten skew correction time.
  10. Check Point / チェックポイント

    Press [Pattern Print] to apply the adjustment values and print the adjustment pattern again. The adjustment values are reflected by pressing the [Pattern Print] button.
  11. Check the adjustment sample, and if the phenomenon is improved, press [Close] to end the adjustment.


    To continue adjusting, repeat from step 8.
