Occurrence condition

After inserting the paper feed deck, the HC lift upper limit sensor does not turn ON after the specified time has elapsed
When a lock signal is detected for a specified period of time continuously while the HC lift motor is operating

Assumed cause

Foreign substances in the paper feed deck
Malfunction of HC lift drive mechanism (rotating component part) due to foreign substances
HC lift drive mechanism (rotating component part) dirt, omission, failure
HC Lift Motor dirty, missing or defective
HC Lift Upper Limit Sensor dirty, missing or defective
High Capacity Unit Main Board failure

Is there any abnormality (damage/wear) in the HC lift motor? Are the connectors connected properly? Are there any problems with the wires?	Go to step 6	In case of falling off or improper installation Reassembly of the HC Lift Motor If there is an abnormality (damage/wear) Replace the HC Lift Motor Improper connector connection Clean the wire connector and reinsert it. If the wire is abnormal Replace the wire.
6	Check the operation of the HC Lift Motor Are the following motors operating normally in Failure Verification menu? HC Lift Motor	Go to step 7	Replace the HC Lift Motor
7	Check the HC Lift Upper Limit Sensor [Part(s) to be checked] HC Lift Upper Limit Sensor - High Capacity Unit Main Board [Confirmation details] Is the HC Lift Upper Limit Sensor missing or improperly installed? Is there any abnormality (damage/wear) in the HC Lift Upper Limit Sensor? Are the connectors connected properly? Are there any problems with the wires?
