Occurrence condition
  • After inserting the paper feed deck, the HC lift upper limit sensor does not turn ON after the specified time has elapsed
  • When a lock signal is detected for a specified period of time continuously while the HC lift motor is operating

  • Foreign substances in the paper feed deck
  • Malfunction of HC lift drive mechanism (rotating component part) due to foreign substances
  • HC lift drive mechanism (rotating component part) dirt, omission, failure
  • HC Lift Motor  dirty, missing or defective
  • HC Lift Upper Limit Sensor dirty, missing or defective
  • High Capacity Unit Main Board failure

  • Visually check the HC lift drive mechanism (rotating component part) to see if any parts are missing.
Reassembly of HC lift drive mechanism (rotating component part) Go to step 4

  • Visually check the HC lift drive mechanism (rotating component part) for damage.

Replace the following parts.

  • HC lift drive mechanism (rotating component part)
  • Lift Drive Unit

If there is an abnormality (damage/wear)

  • Replace the HC Lift Motor

  • Clean the wire connector and reinsert it.

If the wire is abnormal

  • Replace the wire.
