When this menu is executed, the following menu is automatically executed.

- Turn the power ON.

- Press [Execution].

- Press [OK].

- Press [Pattern Print].

- Press each setting item button to make the print settings.
The parameters that can be set are as follows.
Check Point / チェックポイントSet the paper type to be adjusted in the cassette.
One sheet of paper is required to output the adjustment pattern.
Setting Items Selection Feed Tray C1, C2, C3, C4, Paper Tray, High Capacity Unit Available Paper Sizes A4 (Vertical), Letter (Vertical)
Caution / 注意Make sure the paper orientation is as specified (LEF/Vertical).
If the orientation is different from the specifications (SEF/Horizontal), the paper will be ejected without being processed correctly and the operation cannot be checked.
- Press [Execute] to output the adjustment pattern.

Check the adjustment pattern, take the following measures according to the punch hole and paper conditions, and decide the adjustment value.
If the punched holes are tilted: Enter a value larger than the currently set adjustment value
- If the paper is bent or the edges of the paper are damaged: Enter a value smaller than the currently set adjustment value.
Press [Input Value] and enter the adjustment value calculated by step 7.
Check Point / チェックポイントAdjustment value input range: -20 to 20 * Values outside the adjustment value input range cannot be entered.
- + adjustment value: Lengthen skew correction time.
- - adjustment value: Shorten skew correction time.
Press [Pattern Print] to apply the adjustment values and print the adjustment pattern again.
Check Point / チェックポイントThe adjustment values are reflected by pressing the [Pattern Print] button. Note that pressing [OK] will also reflect the adjustment value, but it will transition to the menu screen one level earlier.
- Check the adjustment sample, and if it is improved, press [OK] to proceed to the next step.
To continue adjusting, repeat from step 7. - Press [OK].

- Press [Pattern Print].

- Press each setting item button to make the print settings.

- Measure the distances #1 and #2 from the trailing edge of the adjustment pattern to the center positions of the left and right holes.

Convert the measurement results #1 and #2 to adjustment values.

Example) When the measurement result is 15.5 mm
Adjustment value = 155
- Adjustment value calculation method: Adjustment value = Measurement result x 10
Press [#1] and [#2] and enter the adjustment values #1 and #2.
Check Point / チェックポイントInput range of adjustment value
- 2/4 hole model: 81 ~ 179
- 2/3 hole model: 46 ~ 144
Values outside the adjustment value input range cannot be entered.
Press [Pattern Print] to reflect the adjustment values and output the adjustment pattern.
- Check the adjustment sample, and if it is improved, press [OK] to proceed to the next step.

- Press [Execute] to output the adjustment pattern.

- Fold the adjustment pattern so that the short sides of the adjustment sample overlap and the printed side is inside.
- Write the marking at the edge of overlapping hole of the adjustment pattern. If the holes are not misaligned, no adjustment is necessary.

Open the alignment pattern and measure the distance (#3) between the marking and the hole outline.
Convert the measurement results (#3) to adjustment values.
Check Point / チェックポイント- Adjustment value calculation method: Adjustment value = measurement result ÷ 2
Example) When the measurement result is 3 mm
Adjustment value = 1.5mm
- Adjustment value calculation method: Adjustment value = measurement result ÷ 2
Change the mounting position of the inner punch unit.
- Pull out the inner finisher.
- Remove one screw and remove the front cover of the inner punch unit (A). (S7:
)
- S7: C.B.STITE(P4), SCREW, 3X10, F/ZN3C
- Loosen the fixing screw (A) of the inner punch unit, and change the attachment position of the inner punch unit based on the adjustment value calculated in step 26.

Check Point / チェックポイントCheck the parking position written on the adjustment pattern again and decide the direction to move the unit.
- When the marking is written on the right side of the punched hole (+ side)
Move to the front side of the product. - When the marking is written on the right side of the punched hole (- side)
Move to the back side of the product.
When moving the inner punch unit, refer to the frame memory (1 memory = 1 mm).
- When the marking is written on the right side of the punched hole (+ side)
Tighten the fixing screw (A) of the inner punch unit, and put the inner finisher back.
- Output the adjustment pattern again, and if the misalignment of the holes is improved, press [Skip] to finish the adjustment and assemble the front cover of the inner punch unit.
If you need to continue adjusting, repeat the adjustment from step 23. - Press [OK] to complete the menu.
