  • 000841 HEAD PID overload error
  • 000843 HEAD PID reverse error
  • 000844 HEAD PID lock error  
Occurrence condition
  • The Head Drive Motor has been driven more than a predetermined amount, but the sensor cannot detect it.
  • The Head Drive Motor is rotating in reverse
  • The Head Drive Motor cannot rotate
Assumed cause
  • An abnormal load was suddenly applied to the motor, and the motor rotated in the opposite direction due to the reaction force.

  • Power not turn on or motor cannot rotate at all

  • The load of the Head Drive Motor is more than expected

Print Head transport fixture

Has the head transport fixture been removed? Remove and store it if necessary.
If the Print Head transport fixture cannot be removed, refer to Head and cap transport parts cannot come off.

Is the head duct properly engaged with the guide? Remove and reinstall it if necessary.

Are the four screws for the Head Unit properly attached? Remove and reinstall it if necessary.

Is there contact between the head motor scale and the head motor encoder? Remove and reinstall it if necessary.

Visually check the gear trains of the head motion mechanism for foreign objects, falling off or damage, and reassemble if necessary.

Visually check the cables between the Head HP Sensor and the Main Board, and if there are any cables that are not fully inserted in the connector or disconnected, reconnect them.

Visually check the rotating component parts of Cap Motion mechanism missing or damages, and reassemble if necessary.

Visually check the cable between HP Sensor, Cap and Main Board, reconnect the cable if there is any half-insertion or disconnection.
