Check the status of Feed Cover

  • Is the Feed Cover closed correctly?
 Go to step 2 Close the cover correctly

Check the shape of Feed Cover
Check the shape of the part pressing the Feed Cover Sensor and Interlock Switch.

  • Is there any deformation or damage on the corresponding part?
 Replace the Paper feed cover Go to step 3

Check the operation of the Feed Cover Sensor
Check the sensor operation using the diagnostic function.

  • Judgment: Does the signal change by opening/closing the cover?

Replace the mechanical control board

 Go to step 4

Attach sensor and check connector connection

  • Is there any abnormality in the Front Cover Sensor or half-inserted in the connector?
 Fully insert the connectors.

Replace the sensor.

Check the operation of interlock switch
Check the operation of  the Interlock Switch using the diagnostic function.

  • Judgment: Does the signal change by opening/closing the cover?

Replace the mechanical control board

 Go to step 6

Check the installation of interlock switch and connector

  • Make sure the interlock switch is installed normally or the connector is inserted all the way seated.
 Fully insert the connectors. Replace the Interlock Switch
