Cover open - Main Unit Delivery Cover

Detection condition
  • Main Unit Delivery Cover is open.
  • With all cover sensors in the Bridge Unit, Finisher Unit, and Saddle Unit detecting that the cover is closed, there are areas where the interlock SW is not closed.

  • Interlock Main Unit Delivery Cover
  • Bridge Unit Joint Stacker (Main Unit Delivery Cover)
  • Harness
  • Main Board (Bridge Unit)
  • Each Inter-Lock Switch of the Bridge Unit, Finisher Unit and Saddle Unit.
  • Each cover of the Bridge Unit, Finisher Unit and Saddle Unit.

Check the status of the Main Unit Delivery Cover

  • Is the Main Unit Delivery Cover properly closed?
 Go to step 2 Close the cover correctly

Check the shape of the Main Unit Delivery Cover
Check the shape of the part pressing the Interlock Switch Main Unit Delivery Cover.

  • Is the corresponding portion of the Main Unit Delivery Cover deformed or damaged?
 Replace the Bridge Unit Joint Stacker Go to step 3

Check the shape of the Interlock Main Unit Delivery Cover

  • Check the damage of the Interlock Main Unit Delivery Cover
 Replace the Interlock switch Go to step 4

Check the operation of the Interlock Main Unit Delivery Cover
Check the operation of the Interlock Main Unit Delivery Cover using the diagnostic function.

  • Judgment: Does the signal change by opening/closing the cover?

Check the installation of the Interlock Main Unit Delivery Cover and connector

  • Is the Interlock Main Unit Delivery Cover attached correctly or is it partially inserted into the connector?
 Fully insert the connectors.

Replace the Interlock switch
6 Check the operation of each interlock switches
With the each cover open, set the cover sensor to the detected state and check the operation of the corresponding interlock SW.
  • Judgment: The panel display does not change from "M2 cover is open" when the interlock SW is closed.
 Go to step 7 Go to step 8

Check the installation of interlock switch xxx and connector

  • Make sure the interlock switch that had a problem in step 6 is installed normally or the connector is inserted all the way seated.
 Fully insert the connectors. Replace the corresponding Inter-Lock Switch
8 Check the shape of the each cover
Check the cover shape of pressing each cover sensor and corresponding interlock SW.
  • Judgment: Is deformation or damage occurred only at the point where the inter-Lock Switch is pressed?
