D3 Unit

Cleaning purpose

If ink or paper dust adheres to the area around the D3 unit (rollers or paper feed path), it may cause the ink to transfer onto printed materials or paper jams.


Position

  1. Pull the lever to open the Right Door Unit (A).

  • D3 Unit outside


  • D3 Unit inside


  • Fed path inside the D3 unit/downstream of the belt drawer unit


Cleaning method

Wipe off with a soft cloth soaked in water and wrung out tightly.
