Folding Roller

  1. Refer to the following and remove the floor finisher from the printer main unit.
    Floor Finisher Installation Procedure
    Caution / 注意
    • When disconnecting the Floor Finisher from the Main Unit, the power of the Main Unit must be turned off.
  2. Refer to the following and remove the SDL Unit from the floor finisher.
    Saddle Unit Installation Procedure
    Caution / 注意
    • When disconnecting the Saddle Unit from the Floor Finisher Unit, the power of the Main Unit must be turned off.
  3. Release the 2 hooks and remove the V2R Cover (A) in the direction of the arrow.
  4. Remove 5 screws, then remove the Folding Roller Gear Assy (A).

  5. Disconnect the cable from the connector (A) and release from the clamp (B).
  6. Remove 3 screws and remove the Tri-fold Paper Feed Path Switching Solenoid Assy (A).

  7. Open the V2 Cover (A).
  8. Remove the 2 screws and remove the Paper Ejection Roller Cover (A).

  9. Remove the E-ring (A) and remove the gear (B) and pin (C).

    Caution / 注意

    A pin (A) is attached to the inside of the gear, making it easy to drop when the gear is removed.

    Be careful not to drop or lose the pin (A).
  10. Remove the E-rings (B) and bushings (C) on both edge of the Paper Ejection Roller (A), and remove the Paper Ejection Roller.
  11. Remove 2 screws and remove the Stapler Unit Attachment Plate Rear (A).

  12. Open the V2 Cover (A).
  13. Remove the spring of the torsion spring (A) from the hole in the frame.
  14. Remove the V2 cover (A) by pulling off the shaft.
  15. Remove 4 screws and remove the Paper Guide Assy (A).

  16. Remove the 4 screws securing the Folding Roller Cover Plate (A).

    • : 3x8D
  17. Remove the rear E-ring (A) and remove the bush (B).
  18. Remove the E-ring (A) on the front side and remove the bush (B) from the frame.
  19. Remove the 2 dowels and remove the Folding Roller Cover Plate (A).
  20. Fold the hook with a nipper, etc., and remove the Drive Gear (A).


    Assembly / 組み立て

    Drive Gear (A) is a one-time parts that must be destroyed during disassembly.

    Do not reuse after removing, replace with a new one.
  21. Remove the bush (A) and remove the Folding Roller (B).
