Inner Finisher

Overview

The inner finisher consists of the following five elements.

1 Ejection Mechanism A mechanism that ejects the stack of paper from the processing unit to the output tray. The output tray moves up and down according to the number of stacked sheets.
2 Processing Mechanism A mechanism that performs intermediate processing such as stack ejection and staple ejection of sheets conveyed from the paper feed section.
3 Paper Transport Mechanism A mechanism that pulls the paper transported from the main body into the inner finisher and transports the paper to the paper path ahead.
4 Staple Mechanism A mechanism that staples a bundle of paper.
5 Punch Mechanism A mechanism that performs punch processing. Incoming paper is skewed (improved skew) by two rollers in the paper carrying-in section, and punched one by one.
