Occurrence condition
  • The sensor detected paper presence when the power was turned on, when power saving was restored, and when the cover was opened and closed.

Check the paper feed path

  • At this time, check that the paper is not caught between the High Capacity Unit and the Main Unit.
 Remove any foreign objects or pieces of paper Go to step 2

Check for installation and dirt of sensor

  • Are the roller sensors listed on the defect-related parts clean and properly installed?
 Go to step 3

Clean or reinstall the sensor

Attach sensor and check connector connection

  • Is there any abnormality in the sensor or half-inserted in the connector?
 Connect securely

Replace sequentially

  • Sensors

Board replacement and confirmation of phenomenon reproduction

  • Replace the Controller Board and check the reproduction of the phenomenon for the content of the defect report.
    Is the phenomenon continuing?  

Replace the parts one by one.
