Check state of the Face up tray

  • Is the face up tray open correctly?
 Go to step 2 Open the cover correctly

Check the shape of the Face up tray
Check the shape of the part that presses sensor

  • Is there any deformation or damage on the Face up tray?
 Replace the face up tray Go to step 3

Check the operation of the Face-up Paper Ejection Tray Sensor
Check the sensor operation using the diagnostic function.

  • Judgment: Does the signal change by opening/closing the cover?

Replace the mechanical control board

 Go to step 4

Attach sensor and check connector connection

  • Is there any abnormality in the Front Cover Sensor or half-inserted in the connector?
 Fully insert the connectors.

Replace the sensor.
