Service parameter_1

This product has service parameters for each country and troubleshooting.

Service parameters can be changed using the special mode "Authentication Mode" → "FAX Maintenance Mode" → "FAX Parameter Setting".

Make sure to identify the phenomenon and cause of the trouble before changing the parameter. Otherwise, the essential trouble may be hidden that result in recurrence the trouble or cause of another problem.
As explained in "Fax Troubleshooting Basics", proceed in order 1. Understanding the symptom, 2. Identify the cause, and 3. Correct. (Troubleshooting basic steps)
When the identification of the cause is difficult, check the symptom as accurately as possible to acquire setting information of the product, then inquire at local service representatives.
PX-M7050FX has another parameter addresses, so do not use RAM Edit mode. Before changing the parameters, check the setting items in “FAX Parameter Settings”.
FAX related Service Parameter Settings reset by selecting “Restore Default Settings” > “FAX settings” to reset the settings changed on the User Parameter; however, this is not available for the setting changed on the Service Parameter.
Select “Restore Default Settings” > “Clear All settings” to reset the settings changed on the Service Parameter. Note that the all settings for faxing and Contacts are also reset.
To reset the settings changed on the Service Parameter, select “FAX Support Mode” > “FAX Data All Initial”. In this case the Contacts is not reset.
