PG PID overload error / PID reverse error / PID lock error

Error code
  • 000481 PG PID overload error
  • 000483 PG PID reverse error
  • 000484 PG PID lock error
Occurrence condition
  • 000481 APG Motor cannot operate due to large motor load
  • 000483 APG Motor is rotating in reverse.
  • 000484 APG Motor cannot rotate
Assumed cause
  • When the motor rotates in a direction different from the rotation direction (there was a sudden load abnormality, and the motor rotated in the opposite direction due to the reaction force)
  • Power not turn on or motor cannot rotate at all
  • The load of the APG Motor is more than expected (such as when it is locked inside the Anti-Static Brush Unit)
Related parts
  • Harness polarity wrong
  • PG Encoder
  • The motor load exceeds the expected
  • Damage or foreign substances to rotating component part
  • APG Motor
  • PG HP Sensor
  • Anti Static Brush
  • MCU Board
  • Main Board
  • Power Supply Box

Troubleshooting
Step Confirmation and action YES NO
1

Check a damage of rotating component part
Visually check the rotating component parts of PG drive mechanism missing or damages, and reassemble if necessary.

Is the trouble phenomenon still occurring?

Go to step 2 End
2

Check the cables between the APG Motor and MCU board

Visually check the cables between the APG Motor and the MCU board, and if there are any cables that are not fully inserted in the connector or disconnected, reconnect them.

Is the trouble phenomenon still occurring?

Go to step 3 End
3

Check the cable between PG Encoder and Main Board

Visually check the cable between PG Encoder and Mechanical Controller Board, reconnect the cable if there is any half-insertion or disconnection.

Is the trouble phenomenon still occurring?

Go to step 4 End
4

Check the cables between the PG HP Sensor and the Main Board

Visually check the cables between the PG HP Sensor and the Main Board, and if there are any cables that are not fully inserted in the connector or disconnected, reconnect them.

Is the trouble phenomenon still occurring?

Go to step 5 End
5

Replace the APG Motor

Replace the APG Motor and check the reproduction of the phenomenon for the content of the defect report.

Is the trouble phenomenon still occurring?

Go to step 6 End
6

Replace the Anti Static Brush Unit

Replace the Anti-Static Brush Unit and see if the symptom described in the defect report occurs again.

Is the trouble phenomenon still occurring?

Go to step 7 End
7

Parts replacement
Replace the PG HP Sensor, MCU board, Main Board, and Power Supply Box, in that order. Is the trouble phenomenon still occurring?
