  • C2 Motor cannot rotate
  • C3 Motor cannot rotate
  • C4 Motor cannot rotate
Assumed cause
  • Incorrect setting of paper, setting of number of sheets exceeding specifications
  • Foreign materials in the cassette
  • Damage or foreign substances to Lift rotating component part
  • Unexpectedly high load due to hopper up drive
  • The load on the cassette lift-up motor exceeds the expectation and the motor does not rotate at all

Check cassette (1)
Is the cassette free from foreign objects? Is the stack of paper loaded in the cassette within the limited capacity? Is the stack of paper loaded correctly?

 Go to step 2 Reduce the number of paper sets or remove foreign objects.

Check cassette (2)
Does the cassette operate normally?
Does the cassette hopper mechanism operate normally?

 Go to step 3 Replace the Cassette Unit

Confirmation of rotating component part
Check the wheel train parts of the lift-up mechanism of the target cassette, and confirm that there is no foreign materials or damage.

Replace the MCU Board and the Main Board, in that order.
