Damage of Paper

Assumed cause
  • Paper tip scratching by registration rollers.
    Occurs during secondary paper feeding after paper skew removal. If the registration roller rotates with the paper feed roller's conveyance force reduced without paper deflection, it will be damaged.
    * If you set heavy paper and pass it in plain paper mode, it will not bend during skew because it is strong.

  • Scratches on the leading edge of paper
  • 1 mm or less in paper feed direction
  • Lateral direction is in serrated position of Registration Roller

    Paper transport failure
