# 09 Date transfer function

This menu is used to swapping the machine printer information when replacing aircraft and when the ROM board fails.swapping the machine

Caution / 注意

If you are planning to double swap or reuse the failure machine, perform the following work on the failure machine as well. If the same operation is not performed, the model-specific information is lost. When replacing the main board, restoration is possible by simply transplanting two ROM boards (none need to operate this menu). When replacing either the user information board or the mechanical information ROM board, start the service mode from the power off state.

#When swapping the machine.

1. Port the following parts from the failed machine (A) to the replacement machine (B).

   

   Parts Name	Reason for moving
   HDD	To transfer user information from the malfunctioned machine.
   User info ROM board
   TPM Board	When the password encryption function is enabled, the HDD encryption key is linked to both the user information ROM board and the TPM board. (Password Encryption Function )
   Ink cartridge	Because the consumption is stored in the user info ROM board.

#User information ROM board failure

1. Replace the faulty user information ROM board with a new one (B).
   
   
2. Start the service support mode from the power off state.

#When the mechanical information ROM board fails.

1. Replace the defective mechanical information ROM board with a new one (B).
   
   
2. Start the service support mode from the power off state.

#ROM Board Information Backup

Note / 補足

ROM board information is automatically backed up periodically, so there is no need to execute this menu when swapping the machine. If you want to back up the latest information, execute this menu.

Back up the mechanical information and user information to the storage area on the ROM board. (904 ROM Board Information Backup)
