Occurrence condition
  • Even if the lift-up motor rotates for a predetermined time, the upper detection of the lift-up tray cannot be performed.
Assumed cause

  • Gear damage惻wear

  • foreign substances tucking

  • Cassette unit interior plate deformation or damage

  • Tray Upper Limit Sensor failure

Check operation of the Lift up Motor Gear.

Pull out the cassette unit and check the following inside the main unit.

  • Are there any foreign substances in the lift-up motor gear?
  • Are there any gear damage/wear in the lift-up motor gear?
  • Yes : Removal of foreign substances
  • In case of gear damage/wear: Replace the lift-up motor unit.

Check the cassette unit lift-up gear.

  • Are there any foreign substances in the gear part?
  • Are there any gear damage/wear in the gear?
  • Yes : Removal of foreign substances
  • In case of gear damage/wear: Replace the cassette unit.
 Go to step 3
3 Check harness connection

Is the connector of the harness connected to the tray upper limit sensor disconnected?
  • Connect the connector properly
 Go to step 4

Check the Tray Upper Limit Sensor signal

  • Is there any sensor signal variation when operating the tray upper limit lever?
  • Replace the Tray Upper Limit Sensor (C3 Pickup Unit)
 Go to step 5

Check for Cassette Unit plate damage

  • Is the plate connected to the lift gear deformed or damaged?
  • In case of plate deformation/damage: Replace the cassette unit.
