Failure verification function/Failure distinction code

The service support mode has the failure verification function  that supports troubleshooting.

This function includes a menu for independently operating electrical components (motors / sensors, etc.) and a menu for checking the operation of components that cannot be operated alone by a special sequence operation for main unit or each optional product

Diagnostic function Description Reference
Sequence

By executing a special sequence, it is possible to check whether there are any abnormalities in parts that cannot be checked for operation independently.

 03 Failure Verification
Motor Operate the motor / clutch / solenoid individually and check for any failures in those parts.
Sensor Display the output value (TRUE / FALSE) of the sensor and check if there is any failures in those parts.
Paper Size detect Check if there is an error in the paper size detection function of the paper cassette.
Temp./Humidity Sensor Check whether the detection function of the Temp./Humidity Sensor is normal
