# PF Encoder Board (WF-C579R Series)

1. Remove the four screws, then remove the Rear Cover (Back) (A).

   Assembly / 組み立て

   Attach the two dowels of the Rear Cover (Back) (A) to the positioning holes on the Housing Left (B) and Housing Right (C).

2. Remove the two screws, then remove the Rear Top Cover (A).

3. Open the ADF/SCN Unit (A).
   
4. Remove the three screws that secure the Housing Left (A).

5. Lift the Housing Left (A) to release the two hooks on the front side of the Housing Left.
   
6. Disengage two hooks on the rear side of the Housing Left (A), and remove the Housing Left (A).

   
   

   Assembly / 組み立て

   Insert the eight tabs on the Housing Left (A) to the positioning holes of the Housing Upper (B) and the RIPS Unit (C).

7. Remove the screw that secures the PF Encoder Board Assy (A).
   
   • : C.B.S-TITE SCREW,2X8,F/ZN-3C
8. Disconnect the FFC (B) from the connector on the PF Encoder Board Assy (A).
   
9. Remove the PF Encoder Board Assy (B) while avoiding collision with the PF Scale (A).
   
   

   Assembly / 組み立て

   Attach the two dowels (B) on the PF Encoder Board Assy (A) to the positioning holes of the frame (C).
