PF Scale (WF-C529R Series)

  1. Remove the Rear Unit (A).
  2. Remove the two screws that secure the ASF Cover Assy (A).

  3. Remove the four screws that secure the Rear Back Cover (A).

  4. Remove the Rear Back Cover (A) downward.

    Attach the two dowels of the Rear Back Cover (A) to the positioning holes on the Housing Left (B) and the Housing Right (C).
  5. Remove the ASF Cover Assy (A) in the direction of the arrow.

    Insert the four tabs of the ASF Cover Assy (A) to the positioning holes of the Front Cover Retainer Plate.
  6. Remove the two screws securing the Front Cover Retainer Plate (A).

  7. Open the Printer Cover (A) and remove the four screws, and then remove the Front Cover Retainer Plate (B).

  8. Remove the Front Cover (A) upward.
  9. Remove the three screws that secure the Housing Left (A).

  10. Remove the two screws that secure the Housing Left (A).

  11. Lift the Housing Left (A) to release the two hooks each on the front side and rear side of the Housing Left (A), and then remove the Housing Left (A).


    Assembly / 組み立て

    Insert the four tabs on the Housing Left (A) to the positioning holes of the Ink Supply Unit (B).
  12. Remove the screw that secures the PF Encoder Board Assy (A).

  13. Disconnect the FFC (B) from the connector on the PF Encoder Board Assy (A).
  14. Remove the PF Encoder Board Assy (B) while avoiding collision with the PF Scale (A).

    Assembly / 組み立て

    Attach the two dowels (B) on the PF Encoder Board Assy (A) to the positioning holes of the frame (C).
  15. Peel off the PF Scale (A).

    Assembly / 組み立て

    The PF Scale cannot be reused once it is removed. Make sure to replace it with a new one.
