# Relay Cable (Panel to Main) (WF-C529R Series)

1. Remove the Rear Unit (A).
   
2. Remove the two screws that secure the ASF Cover Assy (A).

3. Remove the four screws that secure the Rear Back Cover (A).

4. Remove the Rear Back Cover (A) downward.
   
   

   Assembly / 組み立て

   Attach the two dowels of the Rear Back Cover (A) to the positioning holes on the Housing Left (B) and the Housing Right (C).

5. Remove the ASF Cover Assy (A) in the direction of the arrow.
   
   

   Assembly / 組み立て

   Insert the four tabs of the ASF Cover Assy (A) to the positioning holes of the Front Cover Retainer Plate.

6. Remove the two screws securing the Front Cover Retainer Plate (A).

7. Open the Printer Cover (A) and remove the four screws, and then remove the Front Cover Retainer Plate (B).

8. Remove the Front Cover (A) upward.
   
9. Disengage the hook, and remove the Maintenance Box Cover (A).
   
10. Remove the three screws that secure the Housing Right (A).

11. Remove the two screws that secure the Housing Right (A).

12. Lift the Housing Right (A) to release the two hooks on the front side of the Housing Right (A), then remove the Housing Right (A).

    
    

    Assembly / 組み立て

    Insert the four tabs of the Housing Right (A) to the positioning holes on the Ink Supply Unit (B).

13. Remove the three screws that secure the Housing Left (A).

14. Remove the two screws that secure the Housing Left (A).

15. Lift the Housing Left (A) to release the two hooks each on the front side and rear side of the Housing Left (A), and then remove the Housing Left (A).

    
    

    Assembly / 組み立て

    Insert the four tabs on the Housing Left (A) to the positioning holes of the Ink Supply Unit (B).

16. Remove the six screws, then remove the Housing Upper (A).

17. Release the all cable from the Cable Guide (A).
    
18. Remove the two screws, and remove the Cable Guide (A).

    Assembly / 組み立て

    Route the PS cable (A) through the two guides and hook on the Cable Guide. Route the Rear ASF Solenoid cable (A) through the six hooks on the Cable Guide. Route the Rear Unit Detection Sensor cable and Rear ASF Paper Detection Sensor cable (A) through the three hooks and the three hooks on the Cable Guide. Route the ASF motor cable (A) through the guide on the Cable Guide.

19. Disconnect the FFC (C) from the connector (CN42) (B) on the Main Board Assy (A).

    
    

    Check Point / チェックポイント

    When disconnecting the FFC (A), make sure to unlock the connector lock (B) beforehand. Close Open

20. Peel off the FFC (A) from the Frame Base.
    
21. Release the FFC (B) from two tabs (A) on the Frame Base.

    
    

    Assembly / 組み立て

    Set the ferrite core (B) of the FFC (A) in the point shown below.

22. Remove the two screws, then remove the Right Panel Holder (A).

23. Release the shaft (C) of the Panel Assy (B) from bearing (A), then remove the Panel Assy (B).
    
24. Remove the five screws securing the Panel Housing.

25. Disengage five hooks on the Panel Housing, then remove the Panel Housing.
    
26. Remove the Panel FFC Cover (A).

    
    

    Assembly / 組み立て

    Install the Panel FFC Cover (A) as shown below.

27. Pull the Relay Cable (A) out from the hole of the Panel Housing.
    
28. Disconnect the Relay Cable (C) from the connector (CN1) (B) on the Panel Board (A).

    
    

    Check Point / チェックポイント

    When disconnecting the Relay Cable (A), make sure to unlock the connector lock (B) beforehand. Close Open
