# Hopper Drive Assy

1. Lift the printer, then remove the Optional Paper Cassette (A).

   
   

   Assembly / 組み立て

   When attaching the Optional Paper Cassette, be sure to align the positioning pins (A) (x2) and the dowels so as to avoid damage to the Drawer Connector (B).

2. Pull the Paper Cassette 2 (A), then remove it from the Optional Paper Cassette Unit (B).
   

3. Pick the tab, and remove the Rear Lower Cover Assy (A) in the direction of the arrow.

   

   Assembly / 組み立て

   When installing the Rear Lower Cover Assy (A), attach the two ribs of the Rear Lower Cover Assy (A) to the holes of the frame.

4. Open the Rear Cover (A).
   
5. Remove the screw that secure the Rear Cover Band (A) to the Rear Frame (B).

6. Push the Rear Cover (A) in the direction of the arrow, and remove dowel A of the Rear Cover (A) from the hole in the frame.
   
7. Remove dowel A (B) of the Rear Lower Cover (A) along the groove of the frame.

   
   

8. Remove dowel B of the Rear Lower Cover (A) from the hole in the frame, and then remove the Rear Cover (A).
   
   

   Assembly / 組み立て

   When attaching the Rear Lower Cover, first of all, attach dowel B in the hole of the frame. When attaching the Rear Cover Band (A), make sure to align the dowel (B) with the hole1 (C) first, then engage the hook (D) to the hole 2 (E), and finally secure with the screw.

9. Remove 3 screws.

10. Disengage the dowel and two hooks at the top.
    
11. Rotate in the direction of the arrow, disengage the hooks (x2) on the rear side, and then remove the Left Cover (A).
    
12. Remove the E-ring (plastic) (B) from the left side of the Vertical Feed Roller (A).
    

13. Remove the One-way Clutch Assy (A) from the Vertical Feed Roller (B).

    

    Assembly / 組み立て

    When attaching the One-way Clutch Assy (A), make sure the arrow mark is facing outside as shown in the figure below.

14. Remove the screw, and then remove the grounding cable (A) and the Grounding Sheet (B).

    Route the grounding cable (A) in the groove of the frame shown in the figure below.

15. Remove the screw and then remove the Upper Grounding Plate (A).

    Assembly / 組み立て

    When attaching the Upper Grounding Plate (A), be sure to align the positioning hole of the Upper Grounding Plate (A) and the dowel of the frame. Make sure the tip of the Upper Grounding Plate (A) is in contact with the bearing (B).

16. Remove the bearing (B) from the Vertical Feed Roller (A).
    
17. Remove the four screws and remove the Hopper Drive Assy (A).

    Assembly / 組み立て

    When attaching the Hopper Drive Assy (A), align the three dowels with the three holes in the Hopper Drive Assy (A).
