# ADF SCALING CALIBRATION (300DPI) [D08]

1. Start service support mode.
   • Service mode startup and operating procedures
2. Select “ADF/SCN: MENU” from the service support mode top menu.
3. Select “ADF Scaling Calibration (300dpi)”.

   Select and execute the corresponding adjustment item using either procedure below.

   • Selecting by entering the program number
   1. Select “Input D No.-ADF/SCN” from the Adjustment menu.
   2. Press the [#] button and software number key is displayed on LCD. Enter programnumber “08”.
   3. Press the [#] button.
   • Selecting from menu
   1. Select “Adjustment: MENU” from the ADF/SCN menu.
   2. Select “Individual Adjustment: MENU” from the Adjustment menu.
   3. Select “ADF Scaling Calibration (300dpi)” from the Individual Adjustment menu.
4. When the screen in following appears, load the chart (ADF A3 Paper Feed Accuracy Inspection Chart) into the ADF. Press the [#] button and perform scanning of the chart.
   
5. Adjustment Result appears.
   • When succeed
   1. The following screen will be displayed.
      
   2. Press the [#] button to return to the Individual Adjustment menu.
   • When failed
   1. The following screen will be displayed.
      
   2. To perform readjustment, press the [#] button and return to Step4. To write default values, press the [*] button to return to the Individual Adjustment menu.
