# Soft Closing Gear Assy

1. Remove the 5 screws, then remove the Rear ADF Cover Assy (A).
   
   
   • : C.SHOULDER S-TITE,3X5
2. Disengage the two hooks and the two tabs, then remove the Rear ADF Cover Assy (A).
   
3. Remove the cables listed below from the connectors of the ADF Board.
   • Cable (USB) (CN823) (With hook)
   • Cable (CN820)
   
4. Remove the screw.
   
   
   • : C.B.S-TITE-SCREW-3x8-F.ZN-3C
5. Remove the ADF Board Cover (A) while releasing the hook.

   
   

6. Remove the five screws.
   
   • : C.B.S-TITE.P4.SCREW-3x6-F.ZN-3C
   • : C.B.P-TITE.P4.SCREW-3x10-F.ZN-3C
7. Disengage the two hooks, and remove the Front ADF Cover Assy (A).
   
8. Remove the C-ring (A).
   
9. Remove the combination gear (A).
   
10. Remove the C-ring (A).
    
11. Remove the spur gear 9.6 (A).
    
12. Remove the One-way Ratchet Hinge (A).
    
13. Remove the spur gear 22.4 (A).
    
14. Remove the screw.

15. Release the two hooks and remove the Soft Closing Gear Assy (A).
