APG OPERATION CHECK [B20]

  1. Start service support mode.
  2. Select “Adjustment Main Unit: MENU” from the service support mode top menu.

  3. Select “APG Operation Check”.

    Select and execute the corresponding adjustment item using either procedure below.
    • Selecting by entering the program number
    1. Select “Input B No.-Main Unit Adjust” from the Adjustment menu.
    2. Press the [#] button and software number key is displayed on LCD. Enter programnumber “20”.
    3. Press the [#] button.

    1. Select “Individual Adjustment: MENU” from the Adjustment menu.
    2. Select “Mech Check MENU” from the Individual Adjustment menu.
    3. Select “APG Operation Check” from the Mech Check menu.
  4. Visually check that the CR Unit and CR Shaft are operating as follows.
    1. The CR Shaft lifts from PG1 (state with CR unit at very bottom) to PG7 (state with CR unit at very top).
    2. The paper guide transitions to the release state (state where raised from paper feed roller).
    3. The paper guide transitions to the release cancel state (state where touching paper feed roller).
    4. The CR Shaft is lowered from PG7 to PG1.

  5. Adjustment is finished if operation is performed normally. If there was something abnormal, reassemble the related parts.

    When the motor drive check result is NG or when there is a motor error, check the APG motor.
