# ADF SCAN POSITION/ SCALING CALIBRATION (600DPI) [D07]

1. Start service support mode.
   • Service mode startup and operating procedures
2. Select “ADF/SCN: MENU” from the service support mode top menu.
3. Select “ADF Scan Position/ Scaling Calibration (600dpi)”.

   Select and execute the corresponding adjustment item using either procedure below.

   • Selecting by entering the program number
   1. Select “Input D No.-ADF/SCN” from the Adjustment menu.
   2. Press the [#] button and software number key is displayed on LCD. Enter programnumber “07”.
   3. Press the [#] button.
   • Selecting from menu
   1. Select “Adjustment: MENU” from the ADF/SCN menu.
   2. Select “Individual Adjustment: MENU” from the Adjustment menu.
   3. Select “ADF Scan Position/ Scaling Calibration (600dpi)” from the Individual Adjustment menu.
4. When the screen in following appears, load the chart (ADF A3 Paper Feed Accuracy Inspection Chart) into the ADF. Press the [#] button and perform scanning of the chart.
   
5. Adjustment Result appears.
   • When succeed
   1. The following screen will be displayed.
      
   2. Press the [#] button to return to the Individual Adjustment menu.
   • When failed
   1. The following screen will be displayed.
      
   2. To perform readjustment, press the [#] button and return to Step4. To write default values, press the [*] button to return to the Individual Adjustment menu.
