# ADF Pick Up Roller Assy

1. Open the ADF Pickup Roller Cover (A).
   
2. Raise the lever (B) on the ADF Pickup Roller Assy (A).
   
3. Remove the ADF Pickup Roller Assy (A) in the direction of the arrow (red).

   To prevent false detection of paper due to paper dust, clean the ADF Pick Up Roller Assy and ADF Retard Roller after replacement, referring to the “Cleaning” - “ADF/SCN Unit” section (Cleaning) in Chapter 8.
