Cause

State in which driven at unexpected speed (fast) for control.

Suspected cause
  • CR timing belt detached or broken
  • CR motor failure
  • Main Board Assy failure

Check the CR timing belt
Check that the timing belt is not detached or broken. Is the result OK?

Replace the following parts in sequence.

  • CR motor
  • Main Board Assy

(If the trouble is not resolved after replacing the parts as shown above, inquire at Epson Service Support department.)
  • When detached
    Reattach the CR timing belt.
  • When broken
    Replace the CR unit.
