Caution / 注意

Be sure to check the following precautions before installation. All workers must read the installing procedure together before starting work. Wear easy-to-move clothing, gloves and safety shoes and work with care for injuries etc. Work with sufficient working space. Work in the position with less load, and stop working immediately as you feel that the workload is too large. All work must be done with the power off.

Installation Procedure

1. Peel off the 2 tapes (A) that cover the screw holes on the side of the printer.
   
2. Secure the Bracket C (A) with 2 screw A.
   
3. Align the hooks on the Device pedestal (A) with the grooves on the Bracket C (B) and attach the Device pedestal (A).
   
4. Secure the Device pedestal (A) with the Coin screw.
   
5. Set the authentication device (B), and pass the cable (C) through the groove on the Device pedestal to the outside.

   
   

   Note / 補足

   When attaching the authentication device, you may use the included duplex tape if necessary.

6. Attach the Device pedestal upper cover (A).
   
7. Secure the Device pedestal upper cover (A) with the Screw A.
   
8. Peel off the seal (A) from the printer's service port.
   
9. Connect the cable (A) for the authentication device to the service port (B), and then arrange the cable (A) to avoid the rear unit (C).
