60122 Bi-D Band Adj.

Overview

Use software to correct the print timing for aligning the print position between the outward path and return path when bidirectional printing in band feed mode is used.

Required Tool
  • Plain paper (A4 or Letter)
Procedure
  1. Start the service support mode. (Starting Service Support Mode)
  2. Select [06 Individual Adjustment].
  3. Select [601 Printer/Additional Cassette].
  4. Select [06120 Bi-D Band Adj.].
  5. If the following screen is displayed, press [Pattern print].

  6. Press each setting item button to make print settings.

  7. Load paper in the selected feed tray and press [Execute]. Adjustment patterns are printed on 3 sheets.

  8. Press [OK] on the following screen.


  9. Check the adjustment pattern and determine the adjustment values for each of #1 through #6 based on the judgment procedure.

    • Adjustment value judgment method
      • From among the printed patterns, select the pattern where the above and below lines are the straightest.
  10. Press on [#1] through [#6] and enter the adjustment value.
  11. Press [OK] on the upper right to complete the adjustment. The adjusted values are saved in the printer.
Note / 補足

If there is no pattern satisfying the judgment method among the adjustment patterns, there is a pattern satisfying the judgment method outside the scope of pattern printing. Therefore, select the best pattern and enter the adjustment value. Following this, again print the adjustment pattern and determine the adjustment value.
