Addition communication error 8 (Error code:032158)

Cause
  • Occurs during communication data abnormality due to noise etc., or when the communication has not been established between the printer and the optional cassettes.
  • Occurs when changing the number of stages of optional cassettes while the power is on.
Suspected cause
  • Optional cassette connection part failure
  • Optional Paper Cassette Main Board failure
  • Main Board Assy failure

Turn the power off and back on again to check whether the error occurs.
Did the error occur?

 Go to step 2

Check the operation after reinstalling the optional cassette
Check by replacing the optional cassette with a normal unit (which works normally).
No error occurred?

 If the error did not occur, go to step 3.

If the error occurred, replace the Main Board Assy.

Check the operation after reinstalling the Connection part of optional cassette
Replace the connection part of optional cassette with normal product and check operation.
Did the error occur?

Replace the Optional Paper Cassette Main Board Assy.
