Transistor temp error (error code: 031003)

Cause

Occurs if an FET of the Main Board Assy or head drive circuit exceeds a set temperature.

Suspected cause
  • Main Board Assy failure
  • Printhead failure
Troubleshooting

Cancel the ADF/SCN fatal error.

Check the reproducibility
Turn the power off and back on to check the reproducibility.
Did the corresponding error occur?

Replace the following parts in sequence.

  • Printhead
  • Main Board Assy

(If the trouble is not resolved after replacing the parts shown above, Contact the Epson Service Support department.)
  • When inserted slantly
    Reconnect the CRCM FFC.
  • When damaged
    Replace the CRCM FFC.
