# Top ADF Document Support Assy

1. Remove the 5 screws, then remove the Rear ADF Cover Assy (A).

2. Disengage the two hooks and the two tabs, then remove the Rear ADF Cover Assy (A).
   
3. Remove the cables listed below from the connectors of the ADF Board.
   • Cable (USB) (CN823) (With hook)
   • Cable (CN820)
   
4. Remove the screw.

5. Remove the ADF Board Cover (A) while releasing the hook.

   
   

6. Remove the five screws.

   • : C.B.P-TITE.P4.SCREW-3x10-F.ZN-3C
7. Disengage the two hooks, and remove the Front ADF Cover Assy (A).
   
8. Remove the C-ring (A).
   
9. Remove the combination gear (A).
   
10. Remove the cable from the connector (CN6) (B) of the ADF Board (A).
    
11. Remove the Ground Terminal (A).
    
12. Release the cable and the grounding wire from the two hooks.
    
13. Remove the ferrite core (A) of the grounding wire.
    
14. Remove the screw, and remove the bearing (A).

15. Remove the two screws, and remove the Damper Frame (A).

16. Remove the combination gear (A) and the bearing (B).
    
17. Remove the screw, and remove the ADF LD Gear (A).

18. Remove the bearing (A).
    
19. Pull the ADF Cover Assy (B) shaft (C) from the hole (A) in the frame and remove the ADF Cover Assy (B).
    
20. Remove the cable from the connectors (CN8 (B), CN9 (C)) of the ADF Board (A).
    
21. Release the cables from the three hooks.
    
22. Remove each screw and remove the two Shaft Plates (A) on the front face and the back face.

23. Pull out and remove the Top ADF Document Support Assy (B) from the shaft (A).
