Calibration error (error code: 190000)

Cause

State in which “write” or “scan” is not possible for the AFE board (CISM) register of SCN or ADF.

Suspected cause

  • AFE board (CISM) failure

  • Disconnection or poor connection of the CISM FFC (31 pin or 16 pin) of SCN or ADF

  • SCN Board or ADF Board failure

Check the connection state of the CISM FFC

Check that the CISM FFC is not disconnect. Is the FFC connected correctly?

 Replace the following parts in sequence, and check the change in status of each replaced part.
  1. CIS Unit
  2. ADF Board or SCN Board
  3. ADF Unit or SCN Unit
(If the trouble is not resolved,  inquire at Epson Service Support department.)

Reconnect the FFC.
