Attaching manual stapler (option)

Perform this procedure if a manual stapler need to be attached.
Preparation

Check that the following items are included in the package.

Attaching Procedure
  1. Open the Rear Cover.
  2. Remove the two screws that secures the Connector Cover.
  3. Remove the Connector Cover.
  4. Remove the two screws that secure the Right Housing Assy.
  5. Remove the Right Housing Assy in the direction of the arrow.
  6. Disengage the two hooks, then remove the Front Cover.
  7. Remove the Stacker in the direction of the arrow.
  8. Remove the Cassette tray in the direction of the arrow.
  9. Remove the three screws that secure the Front Right Housing.
  10. Disengage the two hooks, then remove the Front Right Housing.

  11. Connect the cable of the Manual Staple Unit to the relay connector.

  12. Pass the GND cable through the hole in the metal plate and fix the cable in place with a screw.


  13. Install the Manual Staple Unit onto the printer main unit.
  14. Fix the Manual Staple Unit in place with the three screws.
  15. Install removed parts. (It is unnecessary to mount the Front Right Housing removed from the printer.)
