RIPS Feed Sensor Lever & Torsion Spring

  1. Remove the screw on the rear side of the product, then remove the Paper Jam Clear Cover Holder (A).

  2. Disconnect the cable (B) from the connector of the Paper Jam Clear Cover Sensor (A).
  3. Remove the four screws that secure the Rear RIPS Housing Assy (A).

  4. Remove the Rear RIPS Housing Assy (A) pulling out the cable (C) through the hole (B) of the assy.


    Assembly / 組み立て

    Before reinstalling the Rear RIPS Housing Assy (A), remove the Paper Jam Clear Cover Sensor (B). After connecting the cable, install the sensor to the Rear RIPS Housing Assy.
  5. Remove the two screws and release each hook of the Rear Band (A).

  6. Remove the Dowel on the left side while pushing the Duplex Print Cover Assy (A) to the right side, and remove the Duplex Print Cover Assy (A) by removing the Dowel on the right side.


  7. Remove the two bushes (B) from the RIPS Drive Roller (A).
  8. Remove the two bearings (A) from the frame notch and remove the RIPS Drive Roller (B).
  9. Remove the two screws, and remove the RIPS Feed Sensor Assy (A).

  10. Remove the cable from the connector of the sensor and remove the RIPS Feed Sensor Assy (B).
  11. Remove the spring legs (B) of the torsion spring (A) from the holder (C) notch and the hook in the RIPS Feed Sensor Lever (D).
  12. Remove the RIPS Feed Sensor Lever (A) and the torsion spring (B).
