# INK DISCHARGE [HEAD INK DISCHARGE: C08][SUPPLY INK DISCHARGE: C09][INK SYSTEM INK DISCHARGE: C10]

1. Start the service support mode. (Service mode startup and operating procedures)
2. Select “Maintenance: MENU” from the service support mode top menu.

3. Select ink discharge (Head Ink Discharge or Supply Ink Discharge or Ink System Ink Discharge).

   Select and execute the corresponding adjustment item using either procedure below. Supply Ink Discharge: When executing C09, it is necessary to remove the ink pack from the product. (When executing C08, there is no need to remove the ink pack from the product.)

   • Selecting by entering the program number

   1. Select “Input C No._Maintenance” from the Adjustment menu.
   2. Press the [#] button and software number key is displayed on LCD. Enter program number.
      Head Ink Discharge: 08
      Supply Ink Discharge: 09
      Ink System Ink Discharge: 10
   3. Press the [#] button.

   • Selecting from menu

   1. Select “Ink Discharge: MENU” from the maintenance menu.
   2. Select the part to discharge ink.
