AFTER REPAIR ADJUSTMENT [B80] (PRINT HEAD)

Caution / 注意

If “Before Repair Operation” (Print Head) is not performed before Print Head replacement, Ink charge of “After Repair Adjustment” may do not perform correctly. Therefore, make sure to perform the “Before Repair Operation” (Print Head) before Print Head replacement.
  1. Start the service support mode. (Service mode startup and operating procedures)
  2. Select “Adjustment Main Unit: MENU” from the service support mode top menu.

  3. Select “Print Head: MENU” - “After Repair Operation”.

    Select and execute the corresponding adjustment item using either procedure below.

    • Selecting by entering the program number

    1. Select “Input B No.-Main Unit Adjust” from the Adjustment menu.
    2. Press the [#] button and software number key is displayed on LCD. Enter programnumber “80”.
    3. Press the [#] button.

    • Selecting from menu

    1. Select “Main Parts Adjust: MENU” from the Adjustment Main Unit menu.
    2. Select “Print Head: MENU” from the Main Parts Adjust menu.
    3. Select “After Repair Operation” from the Print Head menu.
  4. The inspections and ink filling are executed in the following sequence.
    1. Head ID Input (Head ID Input [B10])
    2. CR Scale Check (CR SCALE CHECK [B21])
    3. Nozzle Noise Check (NOZZLE NOISE CHECK [B26])
    4. Head Ink Fill (Ink Fill [Head Ink Fill: C01])
  5. After ink filling completes, adjustment is executed in the following order.
    1. Head Angular Adj. Mech (Head Angular Adj. Mech [B43])
    2. Head Angular Adj. Soft A (Head Angular Adj.Soft A [B44])
    3. Head Angular Adj. Soft B (Head Angular Adj.Soft B [B69])
    4. PTS Acc./Dec.Adjust (PTS Acc./Dec. Adjust [B45])
    5. Bi-d Adjust (S) (Bi-D Adjust (S) [B62])
    6. Bi-d Band Adjust (S) (Bi-D Band Adjust (S) [B63])
    7. Band Feed Adjust (S) (BAND FEED ADJUST (S) [B64])
    8. A-B Band Adjust (A-B BAND ADJUST [B65])

  6. Perform check pattern printing, check that there is no problem, and end the adjustments for after print head replacement.

    When an NG result appears in the printed diagnostics pattern, a full adjustment not a simple adjustment must be performed.
