Humidity Sensor

Adjustment / 調整

When replacing/removing this part, refer to the following pages and make sure to perform the specified operations including the required adjustments.

  1. Remove one screw.

  2. Slide the Right SC Cover (A) while pushing the dent (B) of Right SC Cover, and release the three tabs. Remove the Right SC Cover (A).
  3. Remove one screw.

  4. Slide the Left SC Cover (A) while pushing the dent (B) of Left SC Cover, and remove it.
  5. Remove one screw, and remove the Lower SC Reinforcing Plate (A).

  6. Reattach the Lower SC Reinforcing Plate (A) in its portrait orientation, then secure it with the screw.

  7. Remove the screw.

  8. Open the ADF/SCN Unit (A).
  9. Open the ADF/SCN Unit (A) and extend the support stand (B) as far as it goes, then support the ADF/SCN Unit with the support stand.


    Caution / 注意

    Make sure that the support stand (A) is fixed with the two hooks, and the two triangle marks (B) face to each other.
    Check Point / チェックポイント

    When closing the ADF/SCN Unit (A), press the switch (C) on the ADF/SCN support stand (B) and hold up the ADF/SCN Unit to disengage the two hooks, then fold the ADF/SCN support stand.
  10. Remove the five screws. (one of them is also securing the panel ground wire)

    Assembly / 組み立て

    There is a place to fasten the grounding wire (B) together when fixing the panel (A).
  11. Remove the two FFC clamps (A).
  12. Release the Panel FFC (A) and the grounding wire (B) from the guide (C).
  13. Open the Front Cover Assy (A).
  14. Slide the panel unit  (A) rightward to remove it.


  15. Put the Panel Unit (A) at the rear side of the printer.


  16. Remove the screw.

  17. Release the Hook, then slide the Front Right Cover (A) to direction of arrows and remove it.
  18. Remove the Stacker Assy (A).
  19. Remove the seven screws, then remove the Front Housing Frame Assy (A).

  20. Remove the Cassette Assy (A).
  21. Remove the two screws, then remove the Front Left Housing (A).

  22. Turn over the sheet (A), then remove the sponge (C) of the Humidity Sensor (B).
  23. Release the cable of the Humidity Sensor (A) and the 1st Paper Size Detector Assy (B) from the clamp (C) and the hook of the housing.


    Assembly / 組み立て

    When routing the cable of the 1st paper size detection Assy (A), make sure that the positioning (B) of the cable is in front of the hook.
  24. Remove the Humidity Sensor (A) while pushing the fixing hook of Humidity Sensor by using the small flat-head driver.
  25. Disconnect the cable from Humidity Sensor (A).


    Assembly / 組み立て

    When installing the Temp./Humidity Sensor, push it in from above to engage the fixing hook.
