# Paper Guide Upper Center Assy

1. Remove one screw.

2. Slide the Right SC Cover (A) while pushing the dent (B) of Right SC Cover, and release the three tabs. Remove the Right SC Cover (A).
   
3. Remove one screw.

4. Slide the Left SC Cover (A) while pushing the dent (B) of Left SC Cover, and remove it.
   
5. Remove one screw, and remove the Lower SC Reinforcing Plate (A).

6. Reattach the Lower SC Reinforcing Plate (A) in its portrait orientation, then secure it with the screw.

7. Remove the screw.

8. Open the ADF/SCN Unit (A).
   
9. Open the ADF/SCN Unit (A) and extend the support stand (B) as far as it goes, then support the ADF/SCN Unit with the support stand.

   
   

   Caution / 注意

   Make sure that the support stand (A) is fixed with the two hooks, and the two triangle marks (B) face to each other.

   When closing the ADF/SCN Unit (A), press the switch (C) on the ADF/SCN support stand (B) and hold up the ADF/SCN Unit to disengage the two hooks, then fold the ADF/SCN support stand.

10. Release the ADF/SCN cable (A) from the hooks of the Relay Harness Cover (B).
    
11. Release the two relay cables (B) from the clamp (A).
    
12. Release the three relay cables (B) from the hooks of the Relay Harness Cover (A).
    
13. Remove two screws, and remove the Relay Harness Cover (A).

14. Disconnect the All Cables and FFCs from the PCB Mechanism Relay Board (A).
    
15. Remove five screws, and remove the PCB Mechanism Relay Board (A).

16. Open the Duplex Print Cover (A).
    
17. Remove the seven screws.

18. Press the Rear Housing Assy (A) in the direction of the arrow, then release the hook.
    
19. Remove the Rear Housing Assy (B) while releasing the place interfering with the Rear ASF Unit (A).
    
20. Release the Cable from two clamps (A).
    
21. Disconnect the cable (C) from connector (B) of Power Supply Unit (A).
    
22. Remove the four screws and then remove the Rear ASF Unit (A).

23. Remove the four screws fastening the Left Housing (A).

24. Remove the two dowels.
    
25. Remove the rib on the front side while lifting up the Left Housing (A).
    
26. Remove the rib on the back side while lifting up the Left Housing (A), release the hook (B) and then remove the Left Housing (A).
    
27. Remove the six screws fastening the Power Supply Unit Mounting Plate (A).

28. Lift up the frame and remove a dowel (A).
    
29. Lift up the Power Supply Unit Mounting Plate (A), turn it in the direction of the arrow, and remove the two ribs (D) while releasing the unit interfering (C) with the Side Frame (B).
    
30. Remove the Power Supply Unit Mounting Plate (A).

    
    

    Assembly / 組み立て

    Before tightening the screws, make sure the positioning points are correctly assembled with reference to the figure below. A: Interfering Unit B: Rib C: Dowel

31. Remove the screw fastening the Tube Guide (A).

32. Remove the interfering unit, and retract the Tube Guide (A) to the back side.
    
33. Remove the screw, then remove the PF Brush Assy (A).

34. Remove the two screws, then remove the APG Drive Assy (A).

35. Disconnect the cable (B) from the connector (A) of the sensor.
    
    

    
    

    Assembly / 組み立て

    Align the triangle mark (B) on the left APG cam (A) with the triangle mark (B) on the spur gear 14.4 (D) on the APG Drive Assy  (C). At this point, make sure the mark (F) on the combination gear (E) can be seen through the hole on the APG Drive Assy (C). Insert the pin (G) on the upper paper guide into the groove on the release shaft holder of the APG Drive Assy.

36. Disconnect the APG motor cable from the relay connector (A) and release it from the clamp (B).

    
    

37. Remove the two screws securing the APG Motor Assy (A).

    Caution / 注意

    The APG Encoder Cable (B) is routed to the inside of the printer, so that be careful not to pull strongly on the APG Motor Assy (A).

38. Pull the APG Motor Assy (A) slowly to the front by releasing the hook, remove the cable (B) of the APG Encoder and release the APG Motor Assy from the connector (C)  .
    
39. Disconnect the cable from the connector of  APG Encoder (A) and remove the APG Motor Assy (B).
    
40. Release the relay cable (B) and Intermediate Release Solenoid Cable (C) from the cable holder (A).

    
    

41. Release the cable of the APG Encoder and the cable of the APG Phase sensor from the two clamps (A).
    
42. Remove the six screws, and then remove the Uway Drive Assy (A).

43. Remove each screw and remove the four release shaft holders.

44. Remove the E-ring (A) and remove the bush (B) from the hole (C) on the platform side frame.
    
45. Slide the release shaft (A) in the direction of the arrow to remove it from the hole (B) in the full side frame.
    
46. Remove the release shaft (A) by tilting it diagonally.
    
47. Release the cable from the two clamps (A).
    
48. Remove the two torsion springs from each hook.
    
49. Remove the four screws, then remove the Paper Guide Upper Center Assy (A).
