CR PID speed fall error (error code: 000025)

Cause
  • When unexpected deceleration has been detected while controlling CR motor.

  • Initial operation of the CR Unit cannot be performed normally due to improper assembling of failure of the unit or dirt.

Suspected cause
  • Paper jam paper remaining
  • Foreign object remaining

There is no paper jam paper and foreign object in the CR scanning section. Is the result OK?

Go to step 2

Remove the paper jam paper

Check for foreign objects
There is no foreign object in the CR scanning section.

Check dirt and assembly of the following parts

  • PF Encoder
  • APG Drive Unit
    (If the problem persists, contact Epson local service representatives)
 Remove foreign objects
