Blowout of a fuse error (Head) (error code: 031006)

Cause

Occurs if the Printhead fuse has blown.

Suspected cause
  • Printhead failure
  • Head FFC inserted slanted
  • Head FFC damaged
  • Main Board Assy failure
Troubleshooting
Step Check and measure Yes No

Check the connection status of the Head FFC
Check that the head FFC is not inserted slanted.

Go to step 2

Reassemble

Check the head FFC state
Check the head FFC state to make sure that the FFC is not damaged. (Head FFC connection part has come off, FFC disconnected, etc.)

If the error did not occur, go to step 3.

Replace the head FFC
3 Check the state after replace the Print Head
Replace the print head with a functioning one and check if the error has occurred. Did the error occur?

If the error occurred, replace the Main Board Assy.
